Detailed introduction
# Advantages of Bamboo & Bamboo Plywood ## 1. Advantages of Bamboo 1. Fast growth: Bamboo matures in 3–5 years, much faster than timber trees which take decades. 2. High strength and hardness: Its tensile strength exceeds ordinary wood, with good load-bearing performance. 3. Eco-friendly and renewable: It absorbs large amounts of carbon dioxide and causes less damage to forest resources. 4. Stable texture: Low shrinkage and deformation, resistant to wear and insect erosion. ## 2. Advantages of Bamboo Plywood 1. Uniform performance: Press-laminated structure reduces natural defects of raw bamboo like cracks and bends. 2. Strong waterproof & anti-moisture capacity: Suitable for construction, formwork and outdoor projects. 3. High bearing capacity: Hard surface, reusable many times, cost-effective for engineering. 4. Wide application: Can replace solid wood and wood plywood for furniture, packaging and building materials. 5. Environmental friendly: Makes full use of small bamboo strips, high raw material utilization. # Brief Production Process of Bamboo Plywood 1. Material selection: Pick mature bamboo poles, remove roots and branches, cut into fixed-length sections. 2. Slicing & planing: Split bamboo tubes into thin bamboo strips, then plane to equal thickness and smooth surface. 3. Drying: Dry bamboo strips to control moisture content to prevent later deformation and mold. 4. Gluing: Coat environmental adhesive evenly on both sides of dried bamboo strips. 5. Pavement assembly: Cross-stack bamboo strips layer by layer to balance internal stress. 6. Hot pressing: Put stacked boards into hot press under high temperature and pressure to form integrated boards.
7. Trimming & sanding: Cut off uneven edges, sand both surfaces flat and smooth. 8. Anti-corrosion treatment (optional): Apply waterproof and anti-mold agent for outdoor-use boards. 9. Inspection & packaging: Check flatness, thickness and bonding strength, then pack finished products.
